I can’t believe this lil’ man is already 6 months old! It seems like just the other day we were doing his newborn photos. My how time flies. He’s quite the cutie too, don’t ya think? Just like my baby nephew, he’s a very serious boy most of the time, but we caught a couple of giggles and smiles here and there.

He sure has some pretty eyes.

I just think this is so cute. He's just staring at him saying to himself "whoa, that's a big doggie!"

He looks so big just standing up on his own!

Stinkin' adorable expression.

Oh my goodness. What a CUTE expression!

I made a special trip to Dallas to meet this lil’ man. He was quite worth it. Precious little boy, for sure! He was so calm the whole time. He made my job easy. The shoot went without a hitch. He was a lovely baby model. Looking forward to working with more new babies; even in Texas – so worth the drive!

Such a beautiful head of hair!

Adore this.

He must be having a sweet dream.

The famous family chin dimple.

He's already learned how to sit Indian style!

Such a cute lil' smirk.

Already tryin' to fill daddy's shoes.

I love these shots!

Such a beautiful family.

This lil’ cutie was all pleasantry and giggles for her 3 month shoot. She was cracking me up! Her giggle is by far one of the cutest I’ve ever heard (second to my nephew, of course). She would just giggle and giggle and it would then make me laugh, which in turn would make her laugh more. It was a vicious cycle. She was a great baby model for me, even doing her lil’ lip pucker. Stinkin’ hilarious. Hope you enjoy this lil’ doll!

The famous: "lip pucker." So cute!

This is her model face that says: "oh, poor me." Hehehe.

She has the most gorgeous eyelashes! I'm so jealous!

Meredith and her big sis, Allison. Both are just so cute!

After doing several nakey newborn shoots the past couple of years, I was bound to have at least one tinkle incident (and yes, I said tinkle.). And boy howdy! Clayton was the lil’ man for the job; and he sure delivered! We were almost finished with the entire shoot and were doing some naked shots of Clayton when all of the sudden I see a geyser shoot up from between Ben’s hands and low and behold, it was headed straight for me! Ahhh! You better believe I hop, skipped, and jumped back two feet! Luckily my camera made it out safe and the majority of myself with the exception of my shoe getting a lil’ of the action. Hahaha! I died laughing. Funniest thing YET for a newborn shoot. These lil’ ones – they like to keep me on my toes, for sure! This lil’ man, is the new source of joy for couple, Benjamin and Lauren, as they just adopted him! Clayton is super precious, already full of spunk, and muscle. A tough and strong lil’ guy. And stubborn. Those attributes worked in his favor when trying to get him positioned how I liked. Lil’ turkey. So excited for this lil’ family and all the adventures that lay ahead of them!

My fav.

This one cracked me up! Every time he exhaled his head would droop lower and lower. So cute.

Love that he's just looking right at me.

Mama's gettin' in some snuggles.

I realize I haven’t posted a project in probably three weeks. All I’ve been doing is crocheting like a mad woman. Haven’t been inspired to do anything else. However, if anyone has any project ideas they’d love to do, but simply don’t have the time – send ‘em my way and I’ll see if I can give it a shot!

I typically don’t crochet blankets simply because I like the smaller, faster projects better so I can enjoy my finished product more quickly. You have to be pretty dedicated to finish a project of this magnitude. However, these past few weeks I’ve decided to tackle not only one blanket, but three! Ha. When I get bored with one, I move onto a different one. I like variety! I’m almost finished with all three. Like I said crochet-a-holic. Not ashamed.

This is a full view of one I'm working on. It's almost finished. I think. I haven't decided if I should add on more squares. Right now it's a perfect square all together, so I'm debating on making it more of a rectangle shape.

Each color has a different pattern and texture to it. I love that! The original pattern was free from Lion Brand's website. I simply altered mine a bit.

Still have to add the decorative trim border (that I’m totally going to make up, because I love pretty trim). But I’m pausing for a bit until I officially decide if I like the size yet or not…We shall see…

Happy Crafting!

I don’t know what it is about baby boys these days, but I’m such a sucker for them. I think it’s my nephew’s doing. They’re just such lil’ flirts too! Baby Hayden and I had quite the connection. He just kept giving me all these cute lil’ smirks, winks, and peeks. I swear we were playing a session of peek-a-boo! Ha! With his cute lil’ features and full head of hair, it was hard not to adore him. He seemed rather intelligent too (just like his cousin, Reese), you could just see it in his eyes as he was wide awake through a good portion of the session. I was also excited to try some more dramatically contrasted black and white photos for this session. I rather enjoyed them. And I think they turned out beautifully. Hope you fall in love with this lil’ man like I did!

SUCH a cute lil' smirk. And look at that beautiful head of hair!

Again with the smirking! I swear he was thinking I was playing peek-a-boo with him behind my camera.

Love those lil' toes peeking out.

Just chill-laxin'! Ha!

I love how he's just looking right at his mama.

Love at that adorable face! Is that expression not so cute? It's like he's actually posing.

I think he looks so intelligent in this shot.

I really do think he's secretly telling his dad something...

I have the privilege of meeting so many beautiful people with photography. I mean, seriously. Kaitlyn and Luis are a beautiful couple. Their photos were so easy to take. I hope I did them justice, because they could quite seriously pose for magazines. I was so in love and inspired taking their photos I had a hard time stopping; pretty sure I wore Luis out! I had a difficult time choosing which pictures to post. Some of my most favorite pictures of couples, in general, are when they’re not looking at the camera. I love just capturing them together, interacting, as if I’m not even there. These two were such naturals at showing affection, it just so happened that my most favorites are of just the two of them snuggling. Too cute! Hope you enjoy this lovely couple’s pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Work it! Own it! Such models!

I could totally see this in a magazine for a sunglass ad.

Karan and Avantika actually met in high school in India; however, they didn’t start dating until medical school. Now they have both completed medical school and are working on completing their first year of residency. Sadly though, they didn’t get into the same residency program and Avantika is completing her first year in Pediatrics in New York, while Karan is here in Oklahoma City at the OU Med Center completing his in Neurology. How’s that for the engaged/newlywedded life? These two will be completing their engagement ceremony and wedding ceremony in India with the rest of their family and friends this February. I’m sure their wedding festivities will be beautiful as they’ve discussed all the elaborate details with me! This is definitely why I love photography, meeting new people! I learned so much just within our engagement session (including how little I know about India). Ha. They were a great pair to work with!

Baby Finn was born January 10th at 9 lbs 2 ozs. I think that classifies Jackie now as one tough woman! Whew. When I arrived at Jackie’s and Mike’s house to do baby Finn’s pictures she explained to me he had a rough day all day and she wasn’t quite sure how well he’d to for pictures. However, he did remarkably well. He stayed quite calm majority of the time and stayed asleep as well. He was quite precious. As long as he was warm and had his “hair-dryer” white noise on (from Jackie’s iphone) he was good to go. It cracked me up how well that worked; quite the handy phone app. Hope you love this precious lil’ ones cute baby features as much as I do!

Iphone = The Miracle Worker.

Cute lil' nose and lips. Definitely his most defining features.

I finally got to use this lil' stocking hat. SUPER cute!

I love his lil' hand poking out through the blanket.

Finn was also the first to wear my sock monkey hat. It looked pretty darn cute on him. And just look at those lil' baby hands!

I feel like there's a slight smirk in this one.

Oh. My. Goodness. Is this not the cutest picture you've ever seen?! LOVE all the lil' rolls and wrinkles!

The lovely recently-made mama and papa!

Sweet boy.

Started my 2012 off to a great start with a gorgeous wedding and a beautiful day. You couldn’t have asked for better weather: a cloudless, 60 degree day in January. Perfect. Whitney and Matt’s day seemed to flow seamlessly without a hitch. We even had plenty of time to just sit and relax before the ceremony…that rarely happens! Even all the lil’ ones in the bridal party completed their parts with flying colors. Baby Carrington was sure to look right at the camera as she was passing by on her royal chariot of a wagon all decked out in silk and flowers. The church was beautiful. I loved it. Totally my taste. The entrance was gorgeous, plus I love doors…especially red ones, so I was all set! Hope you enjoy this lil’ taste of Whitney and Matt’s lovely wedding!

I just love doing fun, girlie shots! Ha!

Boys and their naughty jokes...jeez.

This just makes me think of Pride and Prejudice; one of my all-time favorite movie scenes. I loved the cinematography of that scene. SO romantic!

I just adore this girl! She's just chillen with her buds. Ha.

Grace was cracking me up at the wedding. She was purely heart-broken. Her eyes would just fill with tears out of no where. She just so badly wanted to go on the honeymoon. I don't know why Whitney and Matt weren't all for that idea...

Sassy lil' thang!

Gorgeous church, inside and out…

Every girl loves a lil' somethin' from Tiffany's.

No one can resist THIS face!

Bubble machines for the exit. Genius!!!!
